Only one week left until the long awaited STANDALONE Maschine drops — the Native Instruments Maschine+!

As I have already pre-ordered my unit, I wanted to do a little experiment and try what it would be like to use a Maschine without a computer screen.

In this video I’m using my Maschine Mk3 from the couch, plugged into my MacMini with a USB-extension chord to recreate the closest-to-authentic-feel possible to having a standalone unit.

I also narrowed myself to using only the on board effects + plug-ins. I didn’t use any third party VSTs, but instead focused on the Native Instruments-instruments, like FM8 and Monark.

Furthermore we’re surface-exploring the Midi-editing function “events”, as well as the on device Arranger function.

What do you guys think about the Maschine+? Overpriced gadget or instant-must-have-😻? Let me know in the comments!
